Barium Perbromate, Ba(BrO4)2

Barium Perbromate, Ba(BrO4)2, is obtained as a white granular precipitate by the action of perbromic acid on barium chloride solution, or in a crystalline form by mixing solutions of potassium perbromate and barium chloride and adding alcohol. It is not formed by the decomposition of barium bromate by heat.
