Acid Barium Selenate, BaSO4.H2SO4

Acid Barium Selenate, BaSeO4.H2SO4, has been obtained similarly to the acid sulphate by dissolving barium selenate in selenic acid. By electrolytic transport it can be caused to crystallise round the anode, and so it is probably to be regarded as barium selenic acid, H2[Ba(SeO4)2]. A concentrated solution of selenic acid saturated with barium selenate also deposits crystals of barium selenic acid.
