Barium Carbonyl, Ba(CO)2

Barium Carbonyl, Ba(CO)2, is obtained as a yellow solid by the action of carbon monoxide on a solution of barium ammonium in ammonia. It is decomposed by contact with air, by heat, or by solution in water.
